In the state of Georgia, physical therapists do have direct access to see patients without a referral for 8 visits within 21 days. If you have Medicare or would like to have dry needling, you will need to have seen a doctor and have a referral for physical therapy.
Please dress in casual loose-fitting clothing that will allow our therapists access to the focused area. You’ll also need to bring your paperwork, referral, and insurance card.
Body In Balance will evaluate your injury and begin a personalized treatment program that will include manual therapy, exercise prescription and management of your injury. Our therapists also provide advanced manual therapy that may include trigger point dry needling, joint mobilization, soft tissue and fascial release, stretching, Kinesio taping, running and gait analysis, fall prevention and balance training.
We are an outpatient clinic specializing in the management of orthopedic injuries. These include but are not limited to: overuse injuries, pre and post-operative surgical care, low back and neck pain, treatment of the shoulder, hip, knee, elbow, ankle, sports-related injuries, and wellness care.
Body In Balance is in Network with Medicare and BCBS/Anthem, both of which are billed directly to your insurance company. If you have another insurance, we are an out-of-network provider. At Body In Balance, each patient will be seen for a one-on-one session for 50-55 minutes with your therapist.
